To Return to the Playground Is to Return to Childhood Play
This is a guide for players to follow in order to step back into (or return) to childhood play and playing pretend on the playground. Let your imaginations run wild in in this rules loose game that can be played anywhere and anytime. The Playground is your oyster, and you can do whatever you want...at least until recess is over!
Gameplay Overview
In A Guide on How to Return to the Playground, players will first establish the boundaries of the space they will play in and any components/props they can use at their disposal. Then, players distribute secret goal cards to each other and come up with an idea for the game.
After reading the Golden Rules of the Playground, the game starts. Players will play the game and try to accomplish their secret goals. Doing so will allow them to add more rules throughout the game.
The game ends when it does, when all players have accomplished their goals, or after 30 minutes have passed.
