ShoeFish
Stretch and Squash Your Way Home
ShoeFish is a lighthearted platformer where you play as a fish who comes across a pair of magic shoes at the bottom of the ocean. The shoes get stuck to your feet, and renders you unable to swim, causing you to sink to the bottom of the ocean.
However, these shoes also grant the fish the powers to stretch out to unimaginable lengths. There's rumors of an anomalocaris at the bottom who's said to help guide lost little fish back home.
Will you sink, or stretch, squash and stomp?
Gameplay Overview
In this silly little platformer, players will use the right and left alt keys to stretch and squash the fish respectively depending on the direction it's facing. When squashing, the fish will squash toward the direction it stretched out in.
Players can also use the up and down arrow keys to adjust the angle the fish looks at. Using the left and right arrow keys while on the ground will change the direction the fish faces, and while in the air,
the left and right arrow keys can be used to move as you gradually sink back to the ground.
The fish's newfound boots are also super sturdy, and are ready to be used to stomp on any creatures lurking at the bottom of the ocean hoping to prey on poor fish that lose their way.
